How we handle your data
What we store
- • Your email address (from sign-up, for account access and reminders)
- • Your deadline profile: arrival date, job start date, 30% ruling status, family situation, permit expiry — used only to compute your personal deadlines
- • Which deadlines you've dismissed
- • A count of how many documents you've decoded this month (for the free tier)
- • Your subscription status (if you upgrade)
What we never store
- • Your uploaded documents — payslips, tax letters, jaaropgaaf. These are processed in memory and discarded immediately. No server ever holds a copy.
- • The content of your decoded results
- • Your BSN, bank account details, or any sensitive identifiers
Email reminders
If you set up the Deadline Guardian, we'll email you 60, 30, and 7 days before each deadline that applies to your situation. We use Resend to deliver these emails. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any reminder email, or from your dashboard. We have a Data Processing Agreement with Resend covering Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data transfers.
Delete your account
You can delete all data associated with your account at any time. This removes your profile, deadlines, dismissals, and usage history from our database permanently.
