Terms for the DutchDecoded beta

These terms apply to the current free beta. There is no paid plan or automatic renewal.

No paid subscription is currently offered

Public checkout is disabled. DutchDecoded does not currently charge a price, renew a subscription, or take payment details. Any future paid offer will have its own clear price, duration, renewal, cancellation and withdrawal information before the user is asked to pay.

1. Who provides DutchDecoded

DutchDecoded is provided by Siya Ntombela trading as Cleareyed Software, a Dutch sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands, KVK 42117349. The full company and contact record is available on the company page.

2. What the beta provides

DutchDecoded uses automated systems to explain selected Dutch documents in plain English and can calculate administrative reminders from information supplied by the user. The supported documents, limits and features can change while the product is in beta.

The service is intended to help a user understand what to verify or do next. It does not file a return, lodge an objection, contact an authority, make a payment, or act on the user's behalf.

3. Informational explanation, not professional advice

Results are generated by AI and can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. DutchDecoded is not a lawyer, tax adviser, immigration adviser, accountant, payroll provider or government body.

The original document and the relevant Dutch authority remain authoritative. Verify important identities, dates, amounts, payment instructions and legal consequences before acting. Seek a qualified professional where the issue affects legal rights, tax liability, residence status, employment, benefits or a material deadline.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

  • Provide accurate account information and keep sign-in credentials secure.
  • Upload only documents you are entitled to process and share with the service providers described in the privacy notice.
  • Do not upload malware, attempt to bypass limits, probe the service, disrupt other users, or use DutchDecoded unlawfully.
  • Do not rely on the service as an emergency channel or as the only record of a deadline.

5. Free beta, availability and changes

Access during the beta is provided without a charge. There is no automatic renewal and no current paid entitlement. We may change limits, add or remove beta features, pause access for security or maintenance, or end the beta.

We will try to give reasonable notice of a material change that adversely affects active beta users. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory consumer right.

6. Ending use of the service

A beta user can stop using DutchDecoded at any time. Reminder emails can be disabled from the dashboard or through the unsubscribe link in each reminder. Account deletion is currently handled through the verified process described in the privacy notice.

There is no paid subscription to cancel. The end or withdraw page records the current position and the controls that must exist before any paid checkout is enabled.

7. Privacy and document handling

The privacy notice explains the browser, Vercel, Anthropic, Clerk, Neon, Stripe and Resend data flows, including retention and deletion boundaries. These terms do not replace that notice.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

Cleareyed Software retains its rights in DutchDecoded, including the software, product design, prompts, explanatory structure and brand. The user retains rights in documents they upload.

Feedback may be used to improve the service without identifying the contributor publicly, unless both sides agree otherwise.

9. Service quality and responsibility

We will use reasonable care in operating the beta, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every document can be identified or explained. Users remain responsible for decisions made from an explanation and for checking the original source.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits statutory rights, or prevents a consumer from relying on mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence.

10. Complaints

Send a complaint to hello@dutchdecoded.com with the account email, what happened and the outcome requested. The complaint process and current contact record are set out on the company page. Cleareyed Software is not currently affiliated with a consumer disputes committee.

11. Governing law

Dutch law applies. This choice does not deprive a consumer who lives elsewhere in the European Union of mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence. Any dispute should first be raised through the complaint process. A consumer may use any competent court available under mandatory law.

12. Changes and legal-review gate

The version and date will change when these terms change. Material changes affecting active users will be communicated in the product or by email where appropriate.

These are operational terms for the free beta. A public paid launch remains blocked until the complete paid terms, checkout disclosures, withdrawal flow, cancellation mechanics and refund handling have received qualified Dutch legal review.
